About Us

Monad was founded in 2015 by Geetha Kanthasamy, a devoted yoga professional who believes that yoga is both a science and an art, essential for the well-being of physical and mental health. Her passion for the practice shines brightly in every class she teaches.

Geetha is a Level 3 QCI Yoga Teacher certified by Ministry of Ayush, India
Yoga Alliance certified ERYT 500 & YACEP

Geetha is a dedicated yoga professional who guides individuals toward inner wellbeing and self-awareness, helping them cultivate harmony within themselves. She extends the same philosophy in her work as an architect, specializing in sustainability consulting, designing green buildings that foster harmony with nature.

Geetha is known for her clear, precise and exact teaching style. Because she weaves together her depth of understanding and years of experience to guide her students evolve to the next level physically and mentally. She believes in customizing yoga for every individual based on their needs and goals. ‘Yoga is for everyone’ is the core concept at Monad Yoga.

She enjoys imparting yogic knowledge to people to understand the significance of yoga and how it influences the mind, body and soul through her YouTube Channel, the Yogic lens.

Geetha is a certified Yoga teacher trained in the tradition of Shri Krishnamacharya. She has done 500+ hours of teacher training in Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Chennai. And also, an Advanced teacher training program in Vinyasa Krama Yoga from Shri Srivatsa Ramaswami a direct disciple of Shri Krishnamacharya.

She has undergone 500 hours Yoga Therapy from International Yoga Academy at Asana Andiappan College of Yoga. Geetha is also a Level 3 QCI Yoga teacher and Evaluator, certified by Ministry of Ayush, India. She is a Yoga alliance registered teacher holding ERYT500, YACEP certifications.
